Disabilities are tragic experiences that may influence suicidal thoughts. Disabilities have a negative effect both on the disabled individual and the family, either emotionally socially, or financially. Emotional turmoil as well as lack of purpose may be among the challenges that people with disabilities encounter. Additionally, parents with children with disabilities may be tempted to kill their disabled children. This blog will create awareness of how people living with disabilities in Kenya may find assistance. When one is disabled he is subjected to a couple of benefits to cater to his or her needs, provided by the government of Kenya and non-governmental organizations like Joali Foundation.

It is through proper and necessary documentation that people living with disabilities are well documented and recognized by the government. The documentation ensures a smooth transaction in service delivery and specialized assistance.
